Mission Statement
Welcome to the Southside Baptist Church-where everyone has a place. As a church, it is our purpose to promote Christian brotherhood and fellowship, to minister to the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical needs of the community and to strive toward Christian maturity through daily living, teachings and fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Being professed believers in Christ and having been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, it is our purpose to carry out the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:19-20:
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Mark 16:15:
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Acts 1:8:
But ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Part-Time Music Director Needed. We have an immediate opening for an individual to fill the position of Music Director.
The Music Ministry is responsible for coordinating the total music program for the church. They provide music for all of our worship services and music for special occasions.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH & NURSERY CARE MINISTRIES
For the comfort and convenience of those who worship with us, we offer nursery care and children’s church during our worship time. One of our ushers will be happy to direct you to these areas of ministry.
